Tokyo

Last year I spent spring break in mainland Japan with a couple of my cousins. We visited Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. Here are some photos we took in Tokyo. Tokyo was similar to New York or any other major city except there were a lot more people…like A LOT! The subway was extremely complicated and crowded. They even had hired people to strategically push and fit people into the subway trains during busy hours, kinda like tetris…with humans. We went to the Imperial Palace, Asakusa, Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Mount Takao. As we took the bullet train to Tokyo from Osaka ( a 3 hour ride) we could see Mount Fuji in the distance. The one thing I wish we could have done though was go to the Ghibli Museum…but unfortunately tickets were all sold out. So we just stood outside of the building looking sad :(
