Prison Break

This acrylic painting was inspired by Prison Break, the show. Yes, I was obsessed. I created this second year of University, so about 2006. I can't remember the dimensions but it's pretty big in size. This was made for class and the assignment was to make a painting that tells a narrative. I guess I figured that each prisoner had their own narrative & story to tell- what there life was like before prison, what they did that led them to getting locked up. I also painted prison cell bars in the foreground which makes it appear that the viewer, too, is in prison. So there are an abundance of narratives going on at once. OoooOh makes you ponder. :P
