The Hill Of Dugongs
The Hill of Dugongs in Northern Okinawa. This was actually one of the first places I visited in Okinawa. A friend brought me here and told me it was his favourite place on the island. I can see why; it was so quiet and peaceful there and the view overlooking the sea was just breathtaking. I’m so grateful that he shared it with me. They say if you’re lucky, you can see the dugongs (manatees) swimming in the sea. I looked very very hard but no luck!
