They love Hello Kitty here! She's everywhere! So if you're a fan, Japan is definitely the place to go if you want to buy some Hello Kitty merchandise! They have stores strictly dedicated to Hello Kitty. In the arcades, they even have Hello Kitty claw machines! They call her "Kitty Chan" here..."Chan" is a term of endearment, similar to "hun" or "sweetie". It's usually used for babies, young girls or in this case, cute animals!
